What makes the
difference real

What makes the difference real

What makes a StGIS education genuinely different is not a set of promises, but structures built into every day your child spends here.

Every child is known — by name, strength and ambition

With classes of just 6–12 students and a 5:1 student–teacher ratio, every child has the space to be seen, supported and challenged. Mentor Tutors hold daily check-ins, set individual goals and keep families informed through regular, growth-focused communication. Here, your child is known not only for how they learn, but for who they are becoming.

A globally recognised IB pathway — opening doors around the world

StGIS students achieve outstanding IB results, with top scores exceeding 40 points. Our graduates progress to leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford, LSE, Bocconi, ETH Zürich and Paracelsus Medical University, as well as respected institutions across Europe, North America and beyond. Students benefit from personalised university and careers guidance throughout their StGIS journey.

60+ activities — because who your child becomes matters as much as what they achieve

From sailing on Wolfgangsee and skiing in the Alps to horse riding, rock climbing, drama, ceramics, golf and coding, more than 60 activities across Outdoor Education, Sport, Creative Arts and Community Engagement are offered on weekday afternoons and Saturdays, open to day students and boarders alike. Specialist-led options include outdoor education with an International Mountain Guide and basketball coaching with a former NBA coach.

PARENT VOICE

“We came to StGIS from a sister Cognita school due to the current situation in the Middle East. The administrative process could not have been smoother. The transfer of our children was seamless, and the admissions department at StGIS was incredibly proactive and helpful throughout.

As a boutique school with a relatively small student body, children quickly find their place and integrate with ease. The small, intimate class sizes create a warm, almost family-like atmosphere among the students.

Being located in a small lakeside village in the foothills of the Alps provides an inspiring, calm, and truly unique learning environment for the children.”
