Class of 2022 IBDP Results

The results are in, and we are so proud of our recent graduates of the class of 2022. This cohort tackled the IBDP with poise and style as they navigated the dynamic nature of the IBDP returning ‘back to normal’ after years of changes due to the pandemic.  To their credit, they stepped up and met the challenges head on with the excellent support of our dedicated staff, loving parents, and our committed board.  A summary of a few highlights are below:

  • Average passing mark of 33.7
  • 20 students scored 35pts or above
  • Highest score: 42pts

We are proud of our accomplishments and inspired by the achievements of our students.  As we all walk the path of excellence, we continue to learn and grow from our experiences.  This means adapting and exploring new ways to ensure that the teaching and learning is inspired and relevant, and that our students continue to gain a wide range of opportunities to become knowledgeable, inquiring and caring global citizens, committed to creating a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.  We remain committed to this mission as we provide excellence in education.

These results are an indicator of some of the learning which has taken place for the class of 2022 in their time with us.  However, the results are not the whole story.  We are proud to be sending many of our graduates out from St. Gilgen to a wide array of university destinations across Europe, United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, Russia and Singapore.  A good portion of our graduates have already started their civil service duties which may last up to one year, showing their commitment to society.  We are confident that with their roots established at St. Gilgen International School, our newest alumni will continue to develop their strengths and live with the values of passion, integrity and excellence as they go on to positively affect those around them both locally and globally.  This is our greatest achievement, and we are excited to learn what the future holds for the StGIS Class of 2022!Â
