German Brand Award 2021


After winning the prestigious German Brand Award in 2020, we were invited to enter our marketing projects from the previous year for the Award 2021. More details about these projects can be found in the link on the following page. We decided again to enter this International competition in the category for ‘Education’, not only because we are immensely proud of the school itself, but also of the ‘St Gilgen International School’ brand and of the advertising presence that we have achieved.  

At the initial stage of our application, we could not believe that a small International school in Austria would win first prize in the Education category for two consecutive years! This year in particular, with more than 1100 applications from 17 countries to the German Brand Award, it is a mark of success for StGIS and especially our marketing manager, Max Obauer, and for all those who support him in his work.

The award also represents confirmation of our ‘St Gilgen International School’ brand and our unshakeable belief; ‘Every child has talent, and StGIS will develop it!’ Few other schools are able to offer such opportunities to discover and foster the individual talents of every student; in the academic arena, the arts, or in the many wonderful sporting activities which can be undertaken in the safe natural environment of the Salzkammergut.
